Fees, Rebates, & Cancellation Policy

This fee reflects the high-quality, personalised care you will receive in a supportive and collaborative environment. It is also set below the APS National Schedule of Suggested Fees for psychological services, which is currently $311.

Session Fee

If you have been referred by a GP or Psychiatrist, you may be eligible to receive a Medicare rebate of $141.85 per session, which reduces the out-of-pocket fee to $138.15.

To claim this rebate, your GP will need to provide a referral under either a Mental Health Care Plan (MHCP) or an Eating Disorder Care Plan (EDP).

  • Mental Health Care Plan (MHCP): This plan give you access to rebates for up to 10 sessions per calendar year. You will start with 6 sessions, then check in with your GP for a quick review before accessing the remaining 4 sessions.

  • Eating Disorder Care Plan (EDP): With an EDP, you may be eligible for rebates on up to 40 sessions over 12 months. A review with your GP is needed every 10 sessions, and once you reach sessions 20, a review with a psychiatrist will also be required.

To make sure everything runs smoothly, please email a copy of your MHCP or EDP and a short referral letter before your first session. Your GP can help determine which plan is best for you.

Don’t have a referral? No worries - you’re still very welcome to book in. Just keep in mind that without a referral, the Medical rebate won’t apply. If you have private health insurance, you might be able to claim a rebate depending on your level of cover, so it’s worth checking with your provider to see what’s included.

Medicare Rebates

We understand that unforeseen circumstances can arise. If you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment, please provide at least 48 hours’ notice. Cancellations made within 24 hours of your appointment time or failure to attend will incur a cancellation fee equal to the full session cost.

If you arrive 20 minutes or more after your scheduled appointment time, your appointment may be forfeited and considered a same-day cancellation, and the cancellation fee may be applied.
